Artist Statement

Jennifer Ruth is a renaissance soul who dances with the elemental ecology of Earth. Her aim is to allow divine Spirit to breathe and create through the animal of her body. She is an entrepreneur, currently focused on Embodied Voice Coaching, supporting clients to connect with their authentic song and truth. Jennifer is a community builder, song-carrier, writer, dancer, permaculturist, yogini, bodyworker, nature guide, and teacher of children. She resides in Maui, HI, on Hawaiian Kingdom lands and is grateful every day for the ancestors and Native Hawaiians who allow her to be on this sacred Aina, her greatest teacher. She holds a BA in Dance from Luther College, and carries the paradigms of Movement Fundamentals in the fabric of her being. Jennifer’s offerings include holding space for community singing, sound healing, yoga, womxn’s circles, meditation, 1:1 coaching, lomi lomi , and transformational journeys at the community homestead where she is blessed to dwell amongst plants, animals and kindred spirits. Jennifer is committed to Earth care, equity for all beings, anti-racisms work, gender equality, LGBTQIA rights, and creating safe spaces for all souls to connect, create, and thrive! She loves her family, both blood-related and her global chosen family that continues to weave a divine rainbow tapestry of communities committed to birthing the new earth, one coherent breath at a time.
