Laura Donnelly, (MFA, BA) (choreographer, teacher, writer, visual artist) teaches dance, writing, and Alexander Technique and Movement Fundamentals. Her work focuses on ease and balance in life and art. She developed “Body-Brain Balance” a method of teaching Embodied Mindfulness based on the Alexander Technique and Movement Fundamentals.
I use the 4 Phases as a framework for structuring projects. These can be written projects, workshops, choreography or simply 1-on-1 interactions. Both MF and Alexander Technique are foundational practices for me – they underly everything I do. I believe the MF Tenets to be true and again they underly and inform my daily interactions.
